Welcome to the

It’s been 36 years since we began organizing this iconic German festival on the
Maresme coast, an event that has evolved into a true tradition for residents and
visitors alike. Since its beginnings, it has had two main locations: first in the
original coastal area and, in recent years, in Santa Susanna (current location).
The idea was born naturally, driven by the large influx of German tourists to the
area during the month of October. While the cold weather is already setting in in
Germany, here we enjoy an ideal mild climate for celebrating outdoors. Thus,
our own version of Oktoberfest was born… and its success was immediate.
Since then, it has been organized every year, except for 2020 and 2021, when
the pandemic made it impossible to hold. This has been the only interruption in
its entire history.
The organization began with Viatges SERHS, later transferred to NT Incoming,
and for more than a decade, the event has been organized by World2Meet
(W2M).
The most remarkable thing is that, throughout all these years, the organizing
team has always remained the same, maintaining the essence, experience, and
spirit of the festival intact, despite changes in management.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of hosting near 3.000 participants per
edition, including both musical bands and regional and folk-dance groups, as
well as their companions and families. Furthermore, the event brings together
more than 15 different nationalities, consolidating itself as a unique and
endearing multicultural gathering.
